Perfection

Mark Buehrle threw a Thursday afternoon delight -- a perfect game.

Buehrle (11-3) went 27 up, 27 down against the Tampa Bay Rays who put it in jeopardy after Gabe Kapler whacked one destined to go over the wall, but was snatched by White Sox centerfielder DeWayne Wise.

Joining the ranks of 15 pitchers who achieved greatness -- including Don Larsen, Cy Young, Sandy Koufax, etc. -- Buehrle also threw a no-hitter in 2007. If anything, it made for a great Thursday afternoon at the ballpark.

Until then, see ya at the park!

P.S. Next stop: Yankee Stadium!
